An Heirloom Approach

A balance of raw emotion and refined composition. Immersive wedding photography and films shaped by architecture, light, and connection across Miami, Palm Beach, and South Florida.

We blend documentary storytelling with a cinematic, editorial approach to create imagery that feels refined, timeless, and deeply personal. Whether you are exchanging vows in the gardens of Vizcaya, celebrating at the Biltmore in Coral Gables, or hosting an oceanfront weekend at The Breakers in Palm Beach, our focus is on capturing how your wedding felt, not just how it looked.

As a Miami wedding photographer with roots in South Florida, I work with couples who value intentional, experience-driven celebrations. From historic estates to grand oceanfront resorts, each story is crafted to reflect your pace, your people, and your setting.

Behind The Scenes

Some moments define a lifetime. They unfold in the stillness of a mountaintop, in the warmth of candlelit celebrations, in the echo of laughter shared with your closest friends. These are the moments that deserve more than memory. They deserve to be felt, fully and forever.

As a Miami wedding photographer and videographer, I have spent the last decade traveling throughout South Florida, Colorado, the U.S., and abroad documenting raw, powerful love in its many forms. From intimate garden ceremonies at Vizcaya to grand celebrations at The Biltmore, the Ancient Spanish Monastery, and The Breakers in Palm Beach, Miami and South Florida draw some of the most remarkable weddings in the country.

I approach every wedding with intention, crafting immersive imagery and films that feel distinct and enduring. Not just how it looked, but how it felt.

Miami & Palm Beach Wedding Photography & Videography

The estates. The ocean. The old-world grandeur.

South Florida weddings occupy a category of their own, a combination of Gilded Age architecture, oceanfront scale, and estate character that rewards photographers who understand how light moves across marble, water, and tropical gardens. Ceremonies in the Italian-Renaissance gardens of Vizcaya, receptions beneath the vaulted ceilings of the Biltmore, and multi-day oceanfront weekends at The Breakers in Palm Beach each present a different visual rhythm. What they share is a clientele that values craft, discretion, and imagery that holds up for decades.

We work with couples planning weddings across Miami, Coral Gables, Palm Beach, and the broader South Florida coast, from intimate historic-estate ceremonies to grand resort celebrations where the weekend itself becomes part of the story. Our approach is documentary-led and editorially restrained, built for settings where the architecture does significant visual work on its own. “so grateful to have had such an awesome photographer
on our day”

Mark is truly the BEST photographer and such a wonderful person to work with!! My husband and I didn’t know exactly what we wanted in terms of wedding photos but we knew we loved Mark’s work. Mark’s easygoing & professional attitude helped guide us to the services that were best for us, and when our venue cancelled on us and we had to entirely re-plan our wedding, he was SO flexible and helped us restructure our package to accommodate a new location and timeline. Throughout the entire planning process he was super communicative and thoughtful. The day of, he and his team ran things incredibly smoothly, took advantage of every moment and helped us get in some extra shots, and made everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera (something my husband and I struggle with) – we received a ton of compliments from our already-married friends about how professional they were throughout the day. Not to mention – he and his team stuck it out through a freak hailstorm during our ceremony with us!! We really can’t recommend Mark enough, & are so grateful to have had such an awesome photographer on our day!!

“Mark delivered something beyond our wildest dreams. His art form is unique yet has a timeless feel.”

Mark Blake was the very first choice we made for our big day and it turned out to be the best one we would make! Creating a story and true art though photos was our highest priority and Mark delivered something beyond our wildest dreams. His art form is unique yet has a timeless feel. The emotion of our moments really came through and you can see the rawness and beauty of the memory. His use of light and dark is truly an art. He was able to direct us to create every shot and we felt completely comfortable with his kind energy. Everyone can’t stop commenting on how stunning our photos are and says they look like they are from a magazine. He really captured both the amazing mountain backdrops and us in every shot. I cried many tears of joy when I saw our photos!

“Mark stole our hearts from the first photo we saw, and he’s lived up to that expectation.”

Where do I start. Mark really helped us plan our wedding in a sense. We knew we wanted something small, out West, natural, and easy. Mark helped us narrow down where we wanted to get married, was there to bounce ideas off of, and had an amazing attitude throughout the whole thing. Day of, he was on the ball, quick to keep things going when we inevitably ran out of time, and was well organized. Not to mention, he has a corgi, so you know he’s good people. Mark stole our hearts from the first photo we saw, and he’s lived up to that expectation. Get ready Denver area, Mark’s about to take the town by storm.

Questions About Miami Wedding Photography

What makes Miami different from other wedding destinations?

Miami occupies a category of its own, a combination of Gilded Age and Mediterranean-revival architecture, tropical light, and bayfront scale that rewards photographers who understand how to work with grand historic settings. Estates like Vizcaya and the Biltmore in Coral Gables offer old-world European character in the middle of a modern city, while the Ancient Spanish Monastery brings genuine medieval atmosphere unlike anywhere else in the country. Couples who choose Miami tend to prioritize distinction and a celebration shaped by place rather than by format.

What is the best time of year for a Miami or South Florida wedding?

November through April is the peak season across South Florida, dry, warm, and comfortable, and ideal for outdoor ceremonies in gardens and oceanfront settings. Summer months bring heat, humidity, and the rainy and hurricane season, which favors indoor, air-conditioned venues and requires a tent at primarily outdoor sites like Vizcaya. For the strongest light and most stable conditions, the winter and early-spring window is the most reliable, and it is also when the marquee venues book first.

Do you photograph weddings in Palm Beach and at The Breakers?

Yes. Palm Beach is a core part of our South Florida coverage, and we have photographed at The Breakers, the Gilded Age oceanfront resort that is the most iconic wedding venue in Palm Beach. As a Palm Beach wedding photographer as well as a Miami one, we document celebrations across the full South Florida coast, from the historic grandeur of the Flagler Museum to grand oceanfront resort weekends. Our South Florida venue guide covers both the Miami and Palm Beach venues in depth.

Do you photograph destination weddings at Miami venues?

Yes, South Florida is one of our primary destination wedding markets, and Mark has roots in the region. We work with couples traveling from across the country and internationally, and for destination clients we offer pre-wedding consultation calls to discuss venue logistics, timeline planning, and photography priorities specific to your location. Our South Florida venue guide covers the Miami, Coral Gables, and Palm Beach venues in the context of the broader regional landscape.

How much does wedding photography cost in Miami?

Wedding photography investment in Miami and Palm Beach is comparable to other premier luxury markets, and it scales with coverage, timeline, and whether you are adding film alongside photography. Our approach is to discuss your specific needs before arriving at a custom quote. We take on a limited number of South Florida weddings each year. If you have a date in mind, the best place to start is our booking page.

Do you photograph weddings at Vizcaya, the Biltmore, and the Ancient Spanish Monastery?

Yes, these are among the Miami venues we know best. Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables, and the Ancient Spanish Monastery in North Miami Beach each offer a distinct visual character, from Italian-Renaissance gardens to a reassembled medieval cloister. You can see how each one shapes a wedding day in our South Florida venue guide, and we are glad to talk through any of them in detail through our booking page.
